About Erwin Winata

Erwin A. Winata is a Certified Public Accountant in Indonesia, registered with both the Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Ministry of Finance. He has been with Kreston Indonesia since 2011 and specialises in audit and assurance services for a diverse range of domestic and multinational clients.

With over 13 years of experience, Erwin has risen from consultant to partner, working with clients across various sectors, including trading, manufacturing, logistics, not-for-profit organisations, professional services, plantations, coal mining, insurance, and financial services.

Erwin is a member of the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI) and the Indonesian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (IAPI). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton.

Experience

Erwin A. Winata has been the Group Managing Partner at Kreston Indonesia since February 2020, bringing over 13 years of experience to his leadership role. Prior to this, he served as the International Liaison Partner for nearly nine years, where he focused on strengthening global relationships and expanding the firm’s international reach. Erwin specialises in audit services, including International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and statutory audits, as well as corporate finance services, such as due diligence for vendors and capital market advisory through IPOs. His sector experience spans agriculture, construction, hospitality and leisure, manufacturing and distribution, real estate, and retail. Under Erwin’s leadership, Kreston Indonesia became an Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) Approved Training Organization, a significant achievement that highlights the firm’s dedication to professional excellence and development.
