David Olivares Martinez is the Managing Partner of Kreston Iberaudit’s Madrid office, where he leads the legal department. Specialising in commercial law, corporate law, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A), David provides strategic legal counsel to businesses navigating national and international transactions. His dual expertise in legal and tax advisory enables him to offer a 360-degree, business-focused approach, supporting clients across sectors with tailored solutions for complex corporate challenges.

Experience

David Olivares Martinez has extensive experience in corporate law, having held senior legal roles at firms including BDO Spain, Crowe Horwath, and Roca Junyent, where he advised on complex commercial transactions, corporate restructuring, and international operations. As the founder of KPO Legal, he established a boutique firm offering integrated legal, tax, and business advisory services. Currently, as Managing Partner at Kreston Iberaudit’s Madrid office, he oversees legal advisory services with a focus on M&A, corporate restructuring, business contracts, and governance. In addition to his legal practice, David has contributed to academia as a lecturer for the Master’s in Legal Practice at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and as a member of the jury for the Financial Studies Awards at CEF.
