About Enrique Pastor

Enrique Pastor is the Director Partner responsible for the Tax and Consulting Area at Kreston FLS in Mexico City. A certified tax expert, he holds accreditations from the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants as both a Public Accountant and a Tax Specialist. With over 30 years of experience, he has provided tax consulting services, particularly in VAT and other indirect taxes, to both domestic and international companies.

As an expert consultant in business profitability, he was awarded a scholarship and earned accreditation as a JICA Business Advisor Consultant by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in 2009. From 2009 to 2012, he was part of the national system of consultants for the Ministry of Economy, providing consulting services to over 25 SMEs.

Education & qualifications

Graduated in Public Accounting at La Salle University and is in the process of graduating as a lawyer from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

Experience

Throughout his professional career he has been an auditor and tax advisor for various non-profit institutions especially related to education and childhood, as well as human and civic rights, providing his services on many occasions pro bono.

As a lecturer he has taught in the degrees of Public Accountant, Business Administration and Graduates in Hospitality Business Degrees at his Ama Mater, La Salle University over 8 years.

He is a member of the College of Public Accountants of Mexico and the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants.
