George Kimeu is the Managing Partner at Kreston KM Certified Public Accountants and is in charge of Audit & Risk Assurance. Kreston KM is a medium-tier firm of Certified Public Accountants registered and operating in Kenya since January 1996 under the Accountants Act. Dr. Kimeu is also a Kreston Africa Regional Steering Committee member.

Education & qualifications

Dr. Kimeu holds a doctorate in Organization Development and Transformation from Cebu Doctors University in the Philippines, a Master of Arts from Daystar University, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Nairobi. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (FCPAK), a member of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya (ICPSK), and a member of the Kenya Institute of Management.

Experience

With over 35 years of professional experience, he specialises in auditing, accounting, finance, and management consulting. Dr. Kimeu has successfully directed and managed significant projects across both public and private sectors, funded by esteemed organisations such as the World Bank, AfDB, PTA, IFAD, SIDA, and the European Union. His expertise spans financial analysis, accounting, auditing, corporate recovery, receiverships, and financial restructuring.
