About Jan Smallenbroek

Jan Smallenbroek is the Managing Director and National Leader of the International Tax & Transfer Pricing Practice at CBIZ MHM. With over 27 years of experience, he specialises in optimising global supply chain tax structures and navigating international tax and transfer pricing challenges. Jan has worked extensively with multinational companies, providing expertise on global tax compliance, tax audits, transactional due diligence, and Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs).

Education & qualifications

Jan holds a Bachelor of Fiscal and Civil Law from the University of Leiden, Netherlands and a Master’s in Tax Law from King’s College, Oxford, UK.

Experience

Jan has held senior leadership roles at a Big 4 firm and, most recently, as an International Tax and Transfer Pricing Partner at a major global accounting firm. He has worked with a wide range of U.S., Asian, and EU multinationals across industries such as private equity, technology, telecommunications, and manufacturing. Jan is also a regular speaker on tax-optimized business models, intangible migration, and international tax planning.
