About Jelle R. Bakker

Jelle R. Bakker is a Tax Partner at Bentacera in the Netherlands, bringing over 35 years of experience in international taxation. Throughout his career, Jelle has made significant contributions to the field, including a decade as Senior Tax Counsel with Global Network Bank. He has held numerous international assignments, providing him with multilingual proficiency and a global perspective. Jelle is also the European Regional Director for the Kreston Global Tax Group.

Education & qualifications

Jelle completed post-graduate studies at Utrecht University in 1989, following his undergraduate studies at the University of Groningen.

Experience

Jelle has been a Partner at Bentacera since February 2012, where he leads the International Tax practice. Prior to this, he served as Director of International Tax at PwC from 2009 to 2012, managing operations in multiple locations. He held senior roles at ABN AMRO Bank between 1995 and 2006, and also gained experience at Ernst & Young in Moscow and The Hague from 1990 to 1995.
