Lynsey Thornthwaite is a marketing leader with over 20 years of experience in brand development, communications, and campaign management across a range of industries, including accounting, hospitality, education, energy, and construction.

Education & qualifications

Lynsey Thornthwaite holds a range of professional qualifications, including a Chartered Marketer status from CIM and a Level 5 Management qualification from CMI. She has completed several diplomas, including those in Professional Marketing (Managing Brands), Digital Marketing (Analytics & Social Media), and Digital Campaign Planning. Additionally, she holds an IOSH Managing Safely certification and a BA (Hons) in Fashion Promotion from the London College of Fashion, further enhancing her expertise in marketing and leadership.

Experience

Lynsey Thornthwaite has over 20 years of experience in marketing, with a diverse background spanning several industries, including accounting, hospitality, education, energy, and construction. In her current role as Head of Digital Brand at Kreston Global, she leads global brand strategies, oversees regionalised marketing teams, and delivers data-driven campaigns that drive brand consistency and awareness. Prior to this, Lynsey served as Head of Brand at Habitus Group, where she led a major rebranding initiative for a construction company, and as Brand Communications Manager at Another Place, The Lake, where she developed a retention content strategy that significantly increased guest retention. Lynsey has also worked as a Freelance Marketing Consultant, providing brand development and campaign management services to various sectors, and has managed marketing teams in previous roles, including at Lakes College, where she led digital recruitment strategies that resulted in a notable increase in student enrolments.
