Education & qualifications

Veronica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).

Experience

Veronica has been with CBIZ for over 25 years, specialising in agriculture, construction, manufacturing, real estate, restaurants, and government contractors. She has expertise in reviewing and compiling financial statements, business consulting, tax preparation, planning and consulting, financial reporting and disclosure, and financial statement analysis. As the CBIZ Latino-Owned Business Service Team leader, Veronica supports Latino business owners in their growth and succession planning.

Her community involvement includes serving as Chairperson of La Hermandad Hank Lacayo Youth & Family Services, the Oxnard Union High School District Foundation Treasurer of Ocean View Toastmasters. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
